It’s been some ten years or so since I did boarded trains and the whole travelling to work thing. Now, my travel consists of a walk to the kitchen to make a cuppa, and then a flight of stairs to my office.
Most of us do this in a conventional way. And then there are these guys….
Hasn’t anyone heard of an invention called the ‘Boat’?
If she could get away with it, my daughter would have one of these.
…And if I could get away with it, I’d have this.
How many farmers does it take to sow a field?
The same amount of workmen it takes to dig a hole.
I see what the driver’s getting, but what does the female get from this deal?
…. Maybe one of these.
Probably not the best way to take your washing to the laundrette.
… Or your wife on her honeymoon.
And people thought British Rail had problems.
Where it all began… The man with the dog powered bicycle.
So, what is the worse journey you’ve ever experienced? And let me know which is your favourite picture and why.

loving the children in the overhead lockers on the plane, what a great way to stop the child sitting behind from kicking he back of your seat!! I Nothing worse on a long journey, even worse when you have asked them to stop and they don`t!!

I’m with your daughter there, Donna! And while laughing I’m also so thankful I live in a place where I dont have such hardship travel. Mostly grateful, as a freelancer, that I work at home most of the time. Lucky you too! Ok, the shoe one? tres cool! And I’ll take the tractor any day.

I couldn’t believe that video. How awful! No wonder people get on our Houston highways and wonder at how many people are driving alone in a large vehicle. I like my commute much better…from my bedroom to the room next door where I write. 🙂

Clever idea using the upper storage compartment to stow away children. I think whoever thought of that should get an award. LOL! Now as for the other pics. Wow, Donna. Makes me appreciate I don’t have to travel like that. One could get Claustrophobia. Uh yes, I do like the walk to my desk. 🙂

Nice photos. 😀 However, besides the laugh I had on some of those, seriously it is rather tragic.
I don’t have a flight of stairs, I just change rooms ;). When I worked as an auditor I was using my car and the traffic was difficult to manage, except at night when I returned home and streets were quite free. But I had learned to be rather good at finishing my makeup or nail polish at traffic lights :D, stretching exercises on neck and shoulders, making to-do lists for the day.
