Would you be outraged if your physician or health care provider intentionally failed to notify you that you had a terminal illness for four years? It is public record the medical professional did exactly that at the beginning of the AIDS pandemic. In the early 1980’s, 114 neonates, and an unknown number of adults, were given HIV infected transfusions at a major LA hospital. The problem first surfaced in 1983, but records clearly show notification to any of the families of those afflicted was deliberately withheld until 1987. I would like to team up with a skilled documentary filmmaker or writer to create an amazing film. Please write me, Alex Ghaffari, at ghaffari10@yahoo.com.

I’m currently looking for television scripts for television drama, in a similar vein as “The Shadow Line” and “Luther”. I’m interested in working with a writer who is willing to work on spec (as I will be) in order to get a project commissioned on a U.K based network. Initially I am interested in producing a 6 part mini series which can either be self-contained (as per “The Shadow Line”) or something with the potential to return with its characters for further episodes. I would be aiming at a post watershed audience for the 9pm – 10pm slot. It would need to be set in modern England day to keep production costs down. Whilst I cannot fund the development, I am happy to negotiate a deal that would see that would see the writer getting a fee that would reflect their period of speculation. Please do not submit whole scripts. Please send a short synopsis or the first 10 pages of a script. I may request the whole script if I feel yours is what I’m looking for. Please email tv@clockworkamoeba.com. For those of you interested in my background, I am a filmmaker that has been largely involved in creating productions which deliver far beyond the limits of their resources. In recent times I’ve built a reputation as a music video director but have worked on a range of film and television productions, in a number of cases as producer/director and have worked on feature script development with other producers.

I am a established Montreal cinematographer/director with over 25 years experience looking to director my next short.  All genres are welcome. Script should be between 5 – 7 pages. For funding purposes, the writer must be Canadian. There is no financial compensation, but you will get sole writing credit. Please send a copy of your script to my assistant, Patrick Greatbatch, at greatbatchmtl@gmail.com.

Shambala Entertainment is seeking collaborator to develop sitcom pilot that will be pitched and probably shot. Funny pros (with sitcom credits on IMDB) who know the sitcom craft needed. If we sell, appropriate writing rates will prevail. You must live in Hollywood area and have two to three days/nights available. Please send your experience and appropriate writing sample(s) to Todd Regenbogen at shambalaent@gmail.com. Thank you.

Seeking low budget feature length sci-fi screenplays. Please send log-line only at this time. Send to praterpix@gmail.com. Visit producer Matt Prater’s IMDB Profile at http://pro.imdb.com/name/nm1056990/.

Eurisko Performance Group (EPG) is seeking film script submissions of five to seven minutes in length. EPG is committed to producing a short film this fall as part of our “Pass it On” Project. Writers will be involved in all aspects of pre-production and filming. Our topic for this year is “Wrestling with False Gods.” It is at the writer’s discretion how to interpret this theme. EPG is committed to producing challenging and thought-provoking films. We value collaboration and passionate vision. Interested screen writers should submit scripts to Managing Director Michael Davis at euriskoperformancegroup@gmail.com for review. We look forward to reading all scripts that are submitted, and thank you for your interest in working with our company.

Looking for a comedic writer to collaborate with on short films and webisodes. We are a small production company anxious to focus more on comedic content. Please send a copy of something recent you have written to us at redefiningfilms@gmail.com. This is not a paid gig. Thank you.

CAT AND WEASEL FILMS is looking for new scripts! We will option scripts to develop and produce in 2013. Scripts should be: 1.) Feature length 2.) Written for low-budget (minimal SFX, contemporary) 3.) At least in their 2nd draft 4.) Set in Europe 5.) Intelligent. We are open to ALL GENRES. Please include: 1.) A short bio of yourself. 2.) The script. 3.) A logline. And, optionally 4.) Anything you would like to add. Send to film@catandweasel.com. Thanks! Please let us know if you have any questions!

We are a media production company in Atlanta looking for completed feature length, high-concept scripts to produce. We are placing emphasis on ROMANTIC COMEDY AND/OR DRAMA. The ideal concept will have minimal locations and cast, a unique non-traditional storyline with a short but strong hook in the logline. Pay to be determined. Please NO ACTION, THRILLER, SCI-FI, ETC. Thank you for your submission. INSTRUCTIONS to SUBMIT: We pay attention to professional, carefully proof-read queries. *PLEASE READ CAREFULLY* (1) In SUBJECT line put ‘LOGLINE/QUERY’ – [TITLE]’ (2)Cut and Paste QUERY LETTER or SYNOPSIS ONLY into body of email at: SCRIPTS @WILDHUNDREDS.COM (3) Attach FULL script. Partial scripts are accepted however, decisions can only be made from reading the ENTIRE screenplay. Thank you.

I am looking for a writing assistant and an assistant for my documentary film, Long Shot, The Kevin Laue Story – www.thekevinlauestory.com. Between the two positions I can offer between 10-20 hours a week of work. Depending on your contribution we’d workout some type of credit, but mostly you should be looking to be involved with us to proof read, brainstorm and do research as my writing partner and I will be doing most of the actual writing. If this interests you, please submit a sample of your writing to us at info@dutchmenfilms.com. The pay is small, however you will make connections and have a learning experience that will be great and it can lead to other opportunities with this series that we are starting. Please go to www.dutchmenfilms.com to learn more about us and some of the projects we’re involved in.

I am an actress/producer who has written a show and I am looking for someone to collaborate with. I have already written the pilot (comedy), shopped it around, the idea is solid, now I want to take it to the next level. If you want to check out some of my work, watch Starvival (youtube.com/starvival) on Youtube. There are 20 episodes that I created, produced, filmed, and edited. Let me know if you’re interested in a potential partnership. Send samples of your work to me at Starvival@gmail.com. I will reciprocate. Serious inquiries only. Thank you.

American author looking for an industry professional to change my novel into a spec script for film production. I am looking for someone with industry connections. I already have a spec script written, but you may see changes need for the silver screen. This storyline is something like Star Wars meets Star Trek. I am currently penning the last in the trilogy for publication – the first two have already been published. Please send your resume and one sample of your work with the title “Film Adaptation” in the subject line of your e-mail to mentalllll@yahoo.com. There will be no pay for this gig unless there is a sale of the spec script.

“Inez Comes to America” is a completed action/adventure feature. Log Line: Inez crosses the border in search of work and her missing mother. She finds murder, cover-up and political corruption. I need the input of a WGA accredited partner to prepare it for submission. We will share equally in film credits, compensation that may come from this film. Please contact me, Joe Patterson, at viejojoe1@cox.net.

AB Productions (London) is looking for a scriptwriter to write a predominantly one-location ROM-COM or HORROR script. We are looking for something that keeps that audience hooked, that is witty and original, but also up to date. To apply please send us a couple of synopsis for either genre and your CV/resume to Alana at aa.ab.product@gmail.com. If you have a 10 page sample of your work that would be great. £300-£500 depending on experience.

I have an idea for a  dramedy television series, but I  want somebody to write the pilot. Think PUSHING DAISIES meets GLEE with a hint of THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA. Send your writing samples to Tim Bartow at baackflipcreator@aol.com under the subject line “pilot writer”.

I am the creator of Way-Station Nine, a new television series I plan to start shopping to my contacts. Way-Station Nine is going to be Star Trek meets Robotech with a little Wing Commander thrown in. I need people who can help to plan at least five seasons worth of stories for the series. I can’t pay you until we have a budget in place. Once we get a budget then we will work out compensation according to WGA guidlelines. If you are interested contact me, Cordell Garrett, at cordellg3@insightbb.com. Thank you.

I’m a screenwriter fluent in both Arabic and English. I have completed scripts in English, with Arabic and international characters. I’m looking to collaborate with writers in projects which deal with the middle eastern culture and beyond. Contact me at ayham_la@yahoo.com. Thank you.

Iron Horse Entertainment is looking for a female writer, preferably African-American, to compose a synopsis or treatment for a true story to which rights are secured. The story centers on a African-American woman (late 20’s) that lands a job at a Hollywood agency. Genre is drama/light comedy and script will be geared for TV/Cable as a MOW. Only accepting writers with sample(s) and resume. Please send material that is registered and less than 15 pages (could be part of a full script) to us at generalinfo@ironhorse-ent.com. Thank you.

Looking for Latina screenwriter for a coming-of-age feature film script based on the short film “Neon Angels”. Send inquiries to me, Alex Clavijo, at asclavijo@yahoo.com. Thank you.

Searching for a writer who is interested in working on a screenplay. The story is about two young adults who fall in love in Washington Heights. The girl is deaf and the boy speaks and communicates with her through sign language, they are confronted by obstacles in their neighborhood. We are planning to shoot the film before the summer on location. The film will be submitted to film festivals when completed. For those interested, please contact me at julianlbass@gmail.com. Thank you.

We are looking for talented writers with completed scripts who are looking to see them produced. Our focus is primarily shorts but features and web series are welcomed. We have a very busy schedule ahead of us for this year and are looking to collaborate with professional-minded writers. Top genres of interest are horror, sci-fi, action & thriller but drama and comedy are welcomed. Our budgets are (normally) micro so please keep that in mind when choosing which scripts to submit. Please submit a quick description, along with a synopsis of the script(s) to info@freitasfilms.com. For your own protection, please have your scripts registered before submitting them to anybody. Writers will be compensated based on the sale of the finished project. Serious inquiries only please. Thank you.

Dear August Productions has secured financing and is seeking a feature-length script for production. Genres are horror, comedy, christian themed or documentary. Low to no vfx, animals, or children preferred. There is pay and writing credit will be reserved. Submit treatment for consideration to submissios@dearaugustproductions.com. Selected projects will be asked to forward complete screenplay.

I am working on a few animated screenplay projects and am in need of a good comedy writer to add in comedy and to help me finish the scripts. We will split any royalties 50-50. Folks with industry connections to animation houses and agents would be most appreciated. I will give you credit as co-writer. Hope to hear back. Send email inquiries to me, Jeff Dearman, at jdearman77@hotmail.com. Thank you

I’ve written several original scripts that require a native English speaker’s touch. I’m good with ideas but lack the special vocabulary to make them attractive. If anybody wants to partner with me, it would be a worthy experience. Contact me, Jim Kopatsaris, at ellinasxx@yahoo.ca. Thank you.

Currently shopping for a powerful drama script. Am looking to purchase a full script or have someone write it out. Budget for script is $1200. Send inquiries to me, Joe Johnson, at filming35mm@yahoo.com. Thank you.

New York Film Academy Producer is looking for screenwriter. This screenplay will be used to create entire producer’s package for the script. Package will include a business plan, a look book, a budget, a schedule, and a marketing and distribution plan. I wish to see scripts between 90pg to 110pgs. Please send your log-line and synopsis to me (Junghun Yang) at jnyfa90@gmail.com. I hope to meet a great partner for this project. Thank you.

Conflict and Idea course taught by Bob Mayer $30.00

(Registration Open) Can you say what your book is about in 25 words of less? This is essential to both writing a tight book and then selling it. We’ll discuss ways to find and state your original idea so that you stay on course while writing the book. The original idea will you excite those you tell it to when trying to sell it. Conflict drives your story. Not only must conflict escalate throughout the entire novel, every single scene must have conflict in it. The Conflict Box is an effective technique for focusing your story on the protagonist, antagonist, their goals and finding out if you have the necessary conflict lock. These two key concepts can help you focus your writing and narrow your pitch. Course taught by Bob Mayer.

Please remember to check out legitimacy of all contests before you enter, and to copyright all your work.

Good luck and let me know how you get on.

Wanted 2 copywriters in English and Hindi with excellent command in their respective languages for writing scripts for various corporate films, TV shows, documentaries, and TVCs. Send in your detailed resume with a sample writeup and a passport size still photograph to Amber at contact@qedcommunications.com. Only for residents of New Delhi & NCR. FREELANCER CANDIDATES NEED NOT APPLY. THIS POST IS FOR PERMANENT JOB.

I’m a writer with contacts in Los Angeles looking to break into TV. I’m currently developing TV pilots to pitch to friends from my AFI days, who have lately become executives in the industry. I have several pilot ideas that need development, and need a partner to speed the process. If you have pilot ideas of your own, all the better (but not essential). We could pool our efforts and attack it as a team. My sensibilties are comedic but not broadly so, and satirical. Influences include Alexander Payne, Mike Judge, and shows like Enlightened, All In The Family, Downton Abbey. Please send me (Charlie MacNamara) a writing sample and resume at charliemcnamara@mac.com if you’re interested, and I’ll send you some of my work.

I have a screenpay based on a true life story that has caught the interest of an established actor, he’s been in mulitple movies and had his own tv show. He likes my concept, writing and main characters but still feels the script needs more work. This is the first script I’ve ever written and could use a 50/50 partner to help me bring it to completion. Email me (Jarrod Miller) at jarrod.miller03@gmail.com for more information.

New production company seeking screenplays by Canadians that can be made for under $1M. Writer-director submissions ok. All genres welcome. Please email a full outline to us at adamdwyer1@gmail.com. If we like it, then the script will be requested. Pay will be 2% of total budget.Thank you.

I have written a wonderful story for a full-length movie that features many different sub-plots. I’ve been able to blend all these plots into an easily understood story by using a unique and different concept. I need a proven and experienced screenwriter that can work with me in re-writing my story into a screenplay. I am especially looking for someone with experience in the terrorist/espionage genres. I will share appropriately whatever is to be made from our work. If interested, please email your bio and contact info to me (Anthony Diffley) at mondiff@aol.com. Thank you.

I really need to find my partner in crime. You don’t need experience as much as enthusiasm and willingness to work on an awesome film project. Specifically, I need a writer (ideally a sci-fi/independent film lover) for development of a truly unique and new sci-fi film project that I am currently developing. I have the story outlined and have the first half of the film (approx 25 scenes) visualised and storyboarded. I have experience editing and have been learning to composite various SFX that might be needed including the development of various rigs and electronic props. If this sounds like its for you and you think you can help feel free to contact me via my email at zombiesatepurplenick@yahoo.com.

I am searching for a feature-length romantic drama (in the vein of “Cairo Time” or “The Eclipse”-Irish film 2011) or romantic comedy (ala “A Touch of Class”) for two amazing actors in their 50s. The piece must be set (or be adaptable to) in a remote and isolated area (preferably a hotel). Adaptations of plays are welcome. Please send logline (in the body of the email, please) to sarah@jofilms.com. Many thanks.

We are looking for short film script in the pyschological thriller genre. The story should be set in just one flat or room. The film will be made by us and it will be self-funded. Due credit will be given to writer along with some pay. However, as the project will is self-funded, the money will not be great. Contact us at bharichinmay@hotmail.com.

I’m an experienced feature director in Los Angeles looking for an excellent  limited location script with limited cast that can be produced for under 500k.  I appreciate dark, strange and original material although smart comedies are fine too; please no sci-fi or romantic comedy.  Please send loglines, synopsis and query to Chris Iovenko at trickpictures@gmail.com. Pay to be determined.

OTLP is currently developing the television series THE KEYSTROKE KILLER based from the original short film by the same name.  After the short film became an instant cult classic receiving 1 million hits on YouTube, a television network wants it developed.  We currently have written 12 episodes, but need 23 for the first year, then if the series is a success up to 63 scripts.  These are one hour episodes.  If your spec script is used, you will be paid according to industry standards.  To write a spec script for KSK it must be based on our characters and storyline.  Please visit www.onthelotproductions.com for the character breakdown. Send inquiries to Carol Michaels at drcarolmichaels@gmail.com. Thank you.

We have a unique opportunity to produce a short film for upcoming high profile festivals. There is NO budget and VERY limited time to film, the script needs to take that into account. Limited characters and locations covering a legal subject or with a lawyer as a main character only. Any genre except horror. Please stay away from murder mysteries or “Law and Order” type scripts – they are overdone and populate this specific festival – think outside the box.  This film is for credit only as it’s a pet project strictly for a short festival run – so if you have 8-12 pages that fit the bill, want to see your work produced, and have you name in the credits as writer submit asap. Please put “law short script submission” in the subject line and send a logline and example. If it is something we think we can work with we will request a script. Also tell us a bit about yourself. PLEASE don’t submit until your script is a final draft. We’ll be accepting screenplays till Sunday, February 26th. Writers may be considered for future gigs. We have a full slate coming up the next year and work with award winning writers. Entries and query letters will not be accepted after the 26th unless specifically posted per project. Send to Ron Smith at info@2hfc.com.

I am a comedy actress and I am producing a sketch show pilot. My intention is to get it picked up by one of the big TV comedy production companies. I have some great contacts in the industry, but a fully polished pilot is expected of me if I want to be taken seriously. My inspiration is ‘Smack The Pony’, ‘Little Britain and the traditional sketch show formats from back in the day, such as Tracey Ullman, French & Saunders etc. I am looking for very varied character material and therefore would most likely end up working with multiple writers. I have some extremely talented and experienced actors to bring this pilot to life so at the very least you would walk away with some great showreel pieces of the comedy sketches you have written. This pilot is unfortunately unpaid at this stage but should negotiations arise with a big production company or broadcaster then a fair contract based on equity standards would be worked out. If this is something that you would like to be a part of then please can you email me some examples of your work. I would like to receive 2 contrasting sketches using any character types you like, preferably with a female character in both of the sketches. My email is melissahartzel@live.com. For your reference my acting work can be seen on my website www.melissahartzel.co.uk. It would be great to hear from you, I can’t wait to read your material! “My Friend Noah” is a romantic comedy written by Ryan MacKenzie about a guy who pretends to be gay to score the hottest girl in school. First act included at our website at http://www.MyFriendNoah.com. Plans are to produce the film in 2012. Financing is around the corner and coverage has been collected. Script is in good shape but needs a strong rewrite and collaborator to guarantee a sale when the film is completed. Looking for an experienced screenwriter who is passionate about Ultra- Low Budget independent films, years of commercial screenwriting experience, a strong handle on romantic teen comedies, and understands niche markets, film festivals, etc. Will consider union and non-union. Payment will be deferred — $5,000 (more for union). Upon commencement of principal photography. Please provide job resume, bio, writing samples, and references for us at myfriendnoah@gmail.com. References will be called.

Seeking a cowriter to develop an outline/partial script into a teleplay for a 2-hour TV Pilot/feature film. Production team is professional and has some great credits under their belt already. The genre is psychological thriller (think of a little Twin Peaks, a little Alias, a little Millennium – very character driven with an ensemble cast.) Please understand the following: this may or may not be paid, so please DO NOT respond if you are only willing to do paid work. And it will be a collaborative effort with the series creator. Male or female, young or old, student or professional – all may apply. Also this will need to be done remotely. My production Company has produced two successful projects already: a very well received TV Pilot which won about 25 awards in 2010 from TV Festivals, and a short film, which received two nominations in 2011. Both were of high quality in every respect. So you won’t be getting into something that will turn out to look and sound of poor quality. Please email your resume, sample scene(s) or trailers/clips of your finished script work, imdb page (if you have one), photo (optional), and anything else you think might be helpful. Thank you.

My name is Isaiah Smith, and I’m 25 years of age. I work as an independent contractor shooting, directing, and editing. Editing is my passion; my goal is to be a feature film editor! I have a bachelor’s degree in film studies from the University of North Texas. I know that doesn’t mean much in a field driven by artistic skill and creativity, but I’m hoping to build more credibility by mentioning my degree. Anyhow, I’m reaching out to the writing community because screenwriting is not one of my strong points. I can shoot shots all day; I can edit all day, but developing a script is an entire beast in itself. That’s why there are professionals, like you all, who make careers of it. I have a small team that is helping develop the script for our short film, but we’re not script writers. I’m doing most of the writing, and it is very challenging. We have about 24-pages written at the moment, but it’s not very strong. I understand the amount of skill and talent it takes to develop a solid story. It’s not something I take lightly because without a good story there is nothing worth sharing. I’m looking for somebody who is passionate and gifted in writing. This person should be able to take an idea and run with it. Preferably, this person will have some experience in screenwriting, but it’s fine to apply with no experience. We all have to start somewhere. 🙂 Lastly, this film is planned to be shot in June 2012. As of right now, we have yet to obtain funding. However, we will be launching a two month campaign on Indie Go-Go in March. We’re believing that God will bless us with $20,000 to make this film a reality. The team is made up of young people who have come together to do a great thing in order to build momentum that will help propel us into our future endeavors. So, there is no money to pay whoever joins the team, sorry. Remember, God takes us through different seasons in our lives. Today, I’m developing a short film, believing for $20k because this is the season God has placed me in. However, in the future, I plan to develop feature films with budgets well in the millions of dollars. If I’m faithful with what I have been given then more will be given. In other words, please don’t let money be the reason you turn down the opportunity to collaborate with talented and creative people. Write to me at infor@saiahsmithfilms.com. For samples of my work check out IsaiahSmithFilms.com. Also, to find out more about the lead actor for this film check out Harmini.org.

I need a comedic screen writer to help me get my story out of the outline stage into the actual first draft of the script. I have the exact story but the dialogue really screws me everytime. I’d love to sit down and discuss the story and see if you can helpe out. I’d love if you are seasoned at screen writing and more specifically at comedies. Pay will be small unless you would rather make a deal for when I either direct the film or sale it and we can work that out when it comes. You can text me at 972-533-5480 at anytime.

Director developing feature version of a science-fiction action story based on short film is searching for a co-writer to collaborate on the feature script.  The script will be independently produced later this year in Michigan, and some equity financing has already been secured. The film will have a budget of less than $500,000, but our goal is to utilize digital filmmaking and groundbreaking special effects now available to everyone, to produce a film that looks and feels like a $50M movie. This is a great opportunity to get some of your work professionally produced and hopefully distributed to an audience. The ideal candidate should be a great writer, love collaboration, be passionate about movies and science fiction, and be fun to work with.  Also, you would be able to stay on the project for help re-writing and polishing the script until we shot in August. Agency representation is a plus. Please send writing samples to scifiwritersearch@gmail.com and tell us a little about yourself in the email. Compensation will be available on a deferred basis, but cash payment may be available upon financing completion in March.

It’s a mixed genre concept with philosophical tones to it. Please apply only if you have written feature film scripts previously. Attach a pdf with samples of your work. If you don’t provide any samples, we will not consider you. Please contact us at mail@millionsofpixels.net. The imdb link to the director’s filmography is: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0162157/.
